Da Boot Sports 1/8/2026 By: Da Boot Sports Staff Lane Kiffin and the LSU staff have been busy rebuilding the football roster. Here is an updated list of our new LSU Tigers. So far the Tigers have signed:: Former Pittsburgh tight end - Malachai Thomas: 6-4, 240 lbs: Thomas was a highly touted tight end coming out of high school. In his two years at Pitt he caught 15 passes for 214 yards with three touchdowns. He brings much needed depth at the position for the Tigers. Former Utah running back - Raycine Guillory: 5-9, 190 lbs: Guillory had a solid high school career. He saw very limited action at Utah. He adds quality to the LSU running back stable. Former Hawaii wide receiver - Jackson Harris: 6-3, 205 lbs: Harris brings the big play threat to the Tigers offense. In 2025 he earned first team All-Mountain West honors, leading the MWC with 12 touchdowns and yards per reception, (19.65). He was ranked second in receiving yards, (963) and receiving yards per game, (87.5). Former Old Dominion wide receiver - Tre Brown III: 6-2, 180 lbs: Brown had 38 catches for 762 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2025. He was the 23 ranked WR transfer portal by 247sports. Former Florida Punter - Hayden Craig: 6-1, 208 lbs: Craig didn't see any playing time in Gainesville. Coming out of high school, he was the 6th ranked punter in the nation. A much needed position for the Tigers. Former Charlotte running back - Rod Gainey Jr.: 6-0, 185 lbs: Gainey rushed for 264 yards on 74 carries and one touchdown in 2025. He will add quality depth at running back. Former Clemson defensive lineman - Stephiylan Green: 6-4, 290 lbs: In 2025 Green started six games at Clemson. In his three years at Clemson, he recorded 34 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. Former Boise State Safety - Ty Benefield: 6-2, 205 lbs: Benefield was one of the top safeties and defensive players in the portal. He should step in and contribute immediately in the secondary. Former Florida wide receiver Eugene Wilson III: 5-10, 194 lbs: In his career at Florida, Wilson had 107 catches for 1,043 yards and ten touchdowns. Wilson possesses 4.43 speed in the 40-yard dash. He has the potential to be an explosive weapon for the Tigers. Former Kansas State wide receiver - Jayce Brown: 6-0, 179 lbs: In his three seasons at Kansas State, brown has totaled 115 catches for 1,972 yards and 13 touchdowns. Another quality weapon for LSU's next signal caller. Former Arkansas kicker - Scott Starzyk: 5-10, 171 lbs: In 2025 he made 14 of 18 field goal attempts and all 47 of his extra points. He should step right in to replace the departed Damian Ramos. Former South Carolina edge rusher - Jaylen Brown: 6-5, 265 lbs: Brown didn't play in 2025 due to injury. He should be an impact player the Tigers in 2026. Lane Kiffin has brought in some solid talent through the portal, but has yet to address LSU's biggest needs, which is quarterback and offensive line. The portal period ends on January 16, plenty of time to get more work done. More updates to come. GEAUX TIGERS! *John 14:6 - "I am the way and the truth and the life.
