LSU FALL FOOTBALL PRACTICE DAY SIX: 8-5-2025

   BATON ROUGE, LA - It was day six of LSU Fall Football Camp as the Bayou Bengals returned to the practice field, in full pads for the first time. Brian Kelly was very pleased with today's practice. The Tigers also had a slightly extended practice on Tuesday. 

​   Sadly, the offensive line is still struggling with run blocking. This unit needs to gel and improve in that area before the Tigers face a very strong Clemson defensive front in the season opener. 

   The defensive line looks very solid and should be a strength on this defense. Kyle Williams is doing an amazing job with this group. 

   LSU's Wednesday practice will be closed to the media. The Tigers will then have a recovery day on Thursday before returning to practice on Friday morning. 

   Michael Van Buren is having his troubles with some inconsistence throws. Colin Hurley is very talented but is still learning. 

​   The defense won the day on Tuesday.
