Da Boot Sports 1/17/2025 By: Jason Watson Jr. BATON ROUGE, LA- Friday night, the collegiate gymnastics world witnessed a meeting between two powerhouse programs as the #7 Florida Gators clashed with the reigning National Champion #2 LSU Tigers. In front of the third-largest PMAC Gymnastics crowd ever, 13,515 strong. The drama ensued throughout the final routine of the night before a winner was crowned. Rotation 1: LSU began the evening on vault while the Gators made their way to the uneven bars. Aleah Finnegan and Kailin Chio anchored the Tigers’ vault scores with impressive showings. Florida took over on vault as the Tigers moved to uneven bars. LSU’s Chio dropped in her bars routine while Pilgrim, Wong, and Harris-Miranda earned 9.9+ for the Gators.
