Weil OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - The Tigers traveled to Oklahoma City where they would compete against three of the nation's best on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Tigers took second place with a score of 197.650. Top ranked Oklahoma barely took first place in a great early season test for the Tigers. The Lady Tigers began with vault. Lexi Zeiss started things off with a 9.850. Aleah Finnegan then vaulted her way to a very nice 9.900. Chase Brock then followed with a strong 9.925. Kaliya Lincoln added a 9.825. Amari Drayton then added a 9.825. Kailin Chio anchored the event with a strong, 9.950. After the opening rotation, LSU sat in second place with a 49.325, behind top ranked Oklahoma's 49.525. California sat in third position with 49.325 and Utah finished with a total of 49.250. In the second rotation LSU moved to the bars. Lexi Zeiss started the event with a 9.825. Ashley Cowan followed with a very strong 9.950. Olivia Dunne then posted a 9.725. Kailin Chio added a nice 9.900. Aleah Finnegan scored a 9.825. Konnor McClain then added an impressive 9.925. LSU remained in second place after the second rotation with a 98.875. Oklahoma held on to first place with a 99.050. California in third with 98.650, followed by Utah with a 98.450. The third rotation saw the Lady Tigers on the balance beam. Sierra Ballard was up first and posted a nice 9.850. Olivia Dunne followed with a 9.775. Up next, Kailin Chio added a 9.850. Konnor McClain then scored a 9.850. Haleigh Bryant then saw her first action of the season, posting a 9.750. Aleah Finnegan anchored the event with a strong 9.925. After three rotations, Oklahoma remained in first place with 148.250, followed closely by LSU with a 148.125. Cal sat third with a 148.000 with Utah next with 147.725. The final rotation sent LSU to the floor. Sierra Ballard took to the floor with her routine first and scored a 9.825. Chase Brock then posted a 9.825. Olivia Dunne followed with a 9.850. Amari Drayton next added a very nice 9.950. Kailin Chio finished with a strong 9.925. Aleah Finnegan anchored the event with an outstanding score of 9.975. Oklahoma held on the win the meet with a 197.950,... LSU finished in second with a 197.650,... In third place was California with 197.275. Followed by Utah with a 196.800.
