Weil NORMAN, OK - #2 LSU traveled to Norman to take on #1 Oklahoma in a huge mid-season meet, but fell in a close contest, 198.125 to 197.925. LSU started the night on the Bars. Lexi Zeiss got things started with a 9.850. Ashley Cowan finished with a strong 9.900. Madison Ulrich posted a solid 9.900 also. Kailin Chio then added a great 9.925. Courtney Blackson followed with a 9.800. Anchor Alexis Jeffrey closed out the rotation with a 9.850. After the opening rotation, Oklahoma led 49.575 to 49.425. The Lady Tigers headed to the Vault for the second rotation. Lexi Zeiss led off with a 9.850. Courtney Blackson followed with a 9.775. Victoria Roberts scored a 9.850. Kaliya Lincoln posted a fantastic 9.950. Amari Drayton added a 9.825. Then Kailin Chio scored an amazing perfect 10.0. After rotation two, Oklahoma continued to hold the lead, 99.175 to 98.900. Rotation three moved LSU to the Floor. Emily Innes led off with a 9.850. Nina Ballou followed with a 9.850. Next Kylie Coen added a 9.850. Amari Drayton scored a very nice 9.925. Kailin Chio then posted a 9.925. Lexi Zeiss closed out the routine with a 9.925. After three rotations, Oklahoma led, 148.675 to 148.375. The final rotation of the night took LSU to the Beam. Kylie Coen started things off with a 9.875. Emily Innes then posted a very nice 9.900. Amari Drayton followed with a 9.850. Kaliya Lincoln scored a strong 9.925. Kailin Chio then recorded an incredible 10.0. Anchor Madison Ulrich closed out the night for the Lady Tigers with a 9.825. Oklahoma was able to hold on for the victory. 198.125 to 197.925.
