 Da Boot Sports 6/13/2024 By: Terrill J. Weil Today, I'd like to honor my good friend and former LSU basketball player Dennis Tracey with this highlight video. Dennis grew up in Kenner, La. and attended De La Salle High School where he played basketball for head coach Jim Tillette, winning the 1986 state championship. From there he would move on to play at a junior college before Tracey became a fan favorite on a LSU team that was loaded with incredible talent. He played for LSU for two seasons, 1988-89 and 1989-90. Tracey became a member of the LSU basketball team due to a letter that he sent to Dale Brown, asking for a chance to prove that he can help the team out. The letter moved Coach Brown and the next thing you know Dennis Tracey was living a dream, starting for the LSU Fighting Tigers. John 14:6 - "I am the way and the truth and the life.
