LSU would take a 50-36 lead into the locker room at the half against a very pesky Southeastern Louisiana team. The Tigers shot the ball well in the first half sinkin 16-27 from the field for 59%. Over the next three minutes, the game slowed down offensively, as the Tigers led, 65-57 at the 8:00 official's timeout. LSU would make the big basket when needed to help remain in control against the scrappy Lions, but SLU would not allow the Tigers to pull away for an impressive win. With 3:45 remaining, LSU held a 72-60 advantage. With the win, LSU improves to 10-1. Next up the Tigers will host Prairie View on Monday, December 22.
