Da Boot Sports 1/22/2026 By: Terrill J. Weil COLLEGE STATION, TX - The 6th ranked Lady Tigers traveled to College Station and won their fourth in a row, blowing out the Lady Aggies, 98-54. LSU played exceptionally well all night, dominating Texas A&M for another impressive victory. The Lady Tigers shot 49% from the field on the night. They hit 6-22 from three point land for 27%. LSU was perfect from the free throw line going 20-20. The Lady Tigers won the rebound battle, 49-24 and forced A&M into 25 total turnovers. Fulwiley had a great game to lead the team with 23 points. Knox scored 19. Koval contributed 15 points. Richard and Joyner both added 11 points each. Flau'jae had 6 points. Z. Johnson and Williams finished with 4 points each. Hines had 3 points and Yarnevich scored 2. LSU started slow, finally scoring on a basket by Grace Knox at the 8:12 mark. 4-2, Aggies. The Lady Tigers took their first lead of the contest with 6:06 left in the period when Flau'Jae Johnson hit a basket and was fouled. She sank her free throw to put LSU up, 7-6. At the 4:42 media timeout, LSU led, 9-8. The first period came to an end with the Ben-Gals leading, 21-12. The Lady Tigers would go on a 12-3 run over the first four and a half minutes of the second period to extend their lead to 33-15. LSU held a 41-22 advantage at halftime. The Lady Tigers shot 16-37 from the field in the first half for 43%. They hit 5-17 from behind the arc for 29%. At the free throw line they sank 4-4. LSU out-rebounded A&M, 24-14 over the first 20 minutes. The Aggies had 14 first half turnovers while LSU committed 11. Fulwiley led the team at the break with 16 points. Richard added 7. Knox scored 6 points. Hines and F. Johnson both had 3 points each. Z. Johnson, Kovak and Joyner all had 2 points each. LSU would go on a 20-13 run to begin the third period, increasing their lead to 61-35 at the 5:21 official's timeout. The Lady Tigers really heated up as they began to pull away from A&M. The Lady Tigers completely dominated the third period as they would take a commanding 78-41 lead into the final quarter. At the 4:51 mark, LSU held an 86-49 advantage as the rout continued. LSU simply coasted the rest of the way for the victory. With the win, the Lady Tigers improve to 18-2 overall and 4-2 in the SEC. Next up LSU will return home to host Florida on Monday, January 26 at 7:00 pm.
