The Lady Rebels out-played LSU in the second period, out-scoring them 12-6 over the final 3:55 of the first half to lead, 43-37 at halftime.

Ole Miss remained in control of the contest halfway through the third period. At the 5:35 official's timeout, the Lady Rebels led 52-45.

The Lady Rebels dominated the third period on both ends of the floor, taking a 63-54 lead into the fourth quarter.

LSU continued their sloppy offensive play into the final period as Ole Miss led, 69-61 with 5:34 to play.

The Lady Tigers stepped up their defense, helping them go on an 8-0 run to tie the game at 69-69 with only 3:29 left in the contest.

With 1:24 left on the clock, LSU led 74-70. The Lady Tigers defense kept Ole Miss without a basket, 0-16 from the field in the fourth period, only scoring points from the free throw line.
