His tenure ends after the Saints lost their seventh straight game Sunday at Carolina. After going 8-28 as Raiders head coach from 2012-14, Allen shined in New Orleans as a defensive coordinator before being promoted to replace Sean Payton in the top coaching spot in 2022. The Saints went 18-25 under Allen in two and a half seasons including 9-8 last year.
