Brees then sign a free agent contract with New Orleans in 2006. He would go on to lead to Saints to their greatest season in franchise history in 2009, winning Super Bowl XLIV and then would go on to set several NFL records. Brees made New Orleans his home, playing 15 years with the Saints.
