BATON ROUGE, LA - LSU opened their 2025-26 season with a 96-60 victory over Tarleton State on Wednesday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in front of 6,525 Tiger fans.

The Tigers quietly shot the ball extremely well on the night. They finished 33-47 from the floor for an amazing 70%. They sank 8-18 from behind the arc for 44%. At the free throw line, the Tigers hit 22-29 for 76%. LSU out-rebounded the Texans, 39-21 and the only blemish of the night was LSU committing 15 turnovers.
Max MacKinnon led the team with 19 points. Dedan Thomas Jr. finished with 16. Marquel Sutton added 13 points. Jalen Reed and Mike Nwoko both finished with 11 points each. Robert Miller had 10 points. PJ Carter and Jalen Reece both had 5 points each. Pablo Tamba finished with 4.

Both teams started fast, each sinking a quick basket each to start the game, but LSU held a 3-2 lead, thanks to a free throw by Dedan Thomas after he was fouled while making his shot.

At the 15:49 media timeout, LSU led the Texan Riders, 11-6.

Over the next five minutes, the Tigers began to slowly pull away. At the 11:34 mark, they led, 25-11.

LSU continued to maintain their lead, outscoring the Texans, 18-15 over the next eight minutes. With 3:38 left in the first half, LSU held a 43-26 advantage.

The first half came to an end with LSU holding a 47-31 lead at the break.

Max MacKinnon led the Tigers at the half with 13 points. Marquel Sutton added 10. Robert Miller III scored 8 points. Dedan Thomas Jr. contributed 7. Jalen Reed scored 6 points and PJ Carter added 3 in the first half.
The Tigers shot very well in the first half, going 16-31 from the floor for 76%. They sank 5-9 from behind the three point arc for 56%. At the charity stripe, LSU hit 10-13 for 77%. The Tigers out-rebounded the Texans, 16-13 in the first half. LSU turned the ball over nine times over the first 20 minutes.

The Tigers started the second half strong, out-scoring Tarleton State, 10-4 over the first four minutes. At the 15:58 official's timeout, LSU held a commanding, 57-35 advantage.

LSU continued to shoot the ball well and play suffocating defense, as they extended their lead to 31 points, 77-46 with 7:48 left in the contest.

The Bayou Bengals simply coasted the rest of the way for the 96-60 victory.

Next Up, LSU (1-0), will host UNO on Monday, November 10. Tipoff is set for 7:00 pm.

ORLANDO, Florida – LSU point guard Dedan Thomas Jr. led an 8-0 run with five points and an assist in the final six minutes of the second half to push the Tigers past UCF, 75-68, in a men’s exhibition basketball game here Sunday afternoon at Addition Financial Arena.

The Tigers rallied from a 36-29 halftime deficit and controlled the last six minutes of the game to get the victory in LSU’s fourth ever exhibition game all-time against another Division I opponent. A rule change this season has allowed DI teams to play each other in basketball exhibitions.

LSU trailed 62-60 with 6:18 to play when Thomas drove the paint and hit a floater to tie the game at 62-62. The UNLV transfer was fouled on the play and dropped in a free throw to give LSU the lead for good at 63-60. UCF missed a long jumper on the next possession, and after a Marquel Sutton rebound, Thomas found Max Mackinnon for a three-pointer, taking the lead to 66-62 with 5:41 left.

The Knights missed a three pointer and off a Mackinnon rebound, Thomas got the ball and drove the paint for a layup and a 68-62 advantage with 4:50 to play, forcing a UCF timeout.

UCF never got closer than four the rest of the contest.

Thomas, led LSU with 16 points, nine assists and just two turnovers in 31 minutes of playing time. Thomas was 6-of-11 from the field with a trey and 3-of-4 at the line. Mike Nwoko had 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting and 2025 Summit League Player of the Year, Marquel Sutton, had a double double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Sutton was 4-of-8 from the field with three treys and 3-of-4 at the line.

UCF was led by Riley Kugel with 21 points (three treys) with George Beale adding 18 points (four treys). The Knights hit 8-of-15 three-pointers in the first half, but was just 2-of-14 in the final 20 minutes.

“I thought our players did a good job of adjusting and defended the three-point line a lot better (in the second half),” said Coach Matt McMahon after the game. “Offensively, after throwing it all over the gym (I think both teams threw it all over the gym) the first half; but the second half we settled in and executed really well. DJ Thomas terrific job running the show. We won the three-point line in the second half, 6-of-10 there. I thought our players did a great job getting to the free throw line.”

Both teams turned the ball over 10 times in the opening half but UCF was able to get 11 points off turnovers and 13 points off of fast break transitions in the opening 20 minutes. The squads controlled the ball better in the second half with LSU turning over the ball over just five times (one in the first 12 minutes) and ended up with an 18-16 advantage in points off turnovers.

The Tigers finished the game shooting 47.3 percent (26-55) after making 15-of-28 from the field in the final 20 minutes. LSU made 10 total threes and was 13-of-19 at the free throw line.

UCF finished at 42.8 percent (26-of-61), making 10-of-29 three-pointers and 6-of-12 at the free throw line.

“The turnovers crushed us in the first half,” said Coach McMahon. “UCF was one of the fastest playing teams in the country last season and it looks to me watching the Duke game and today that they are trying to do the same thing. So by turning it over we were just fueling their transition game. I thought we did a better job securing the basketball in the second half. We got high quality shots and guys stepped up and knocked them down.”

Of Nwoko’s performance, “I thought Nwoko was terrific for us around the basket,” the fourth-year LSU Coach said. “He got four offensive boards. I’ve said it to our fans and media back home that he’s a lot more skilled as an offensive player than I anticipated and I thought you saw some of that today with his jump hooks down in the post. I thought he was very impactful there.”

Jalen Reed, who is returning from his ACL injury last December, played almost 11 minutes in the game while continuing his return to play and finished with six points and four rebounds. Mackinnon finished with three treys and nine points, Rashad King finished with eight points and Pablo Tamba scored six points and grabbed six rebounds.

Robert Miller III was held out of the exhibition game after tweaking his ankle in the closed scrimmage a week ago.

LSU opens the 2025-26 regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 5, against Tarleton State in the first of five home games in the first 16 days of the regular season. Season tickets, single game nonconference tickets and mini-plans are available at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office and online at LSUTix.net.

NASHVILLE, TN - LSU headed to Nashville to take on Mississippi State in the first round of the SEC Tournament and were blown out, 91-62 in an embarrassing season finale.

LSU finished the game shooting 39% from the floor. Poor shooting from the outside with no inside game. The Tigers struggled in every phase of the game. Jordan Sears led the team with 20 points. Robert Miller III scored 14. Cam Carter finished with 13 points. A disappointing way to end a dismal season.

The contest started competitive but low scoring, as both teams fought to settle into a groove. At the 13:50 media timeout, Mississippi State led, 13-12.

LSU would go on a two minutes scoring drought allowing State to increase their lead. With 7:53 left in the first half the Bulldogs held a 26-19 lead.

The Tigers struggled over the next four minutes and State took advantage, going on an 11-3 run to take a 37-22 lead.

Things got ugly for the Bayou Bengals as the Bulldogs began to pour it on. A 7-1 run extended Mississippi State’s lead to 44-23 at the 2:16 mark.

LSU found themselves down by 20 at halftime, 44-24. Just a sloppy first half of play by the Tigers. LSU went without a basket during the last ten plus minutes of the first half. They shot 31% from the floor. They shot poorly from three point land, 3-15 for 20%. Only 45% from the charity stripe, hitting 5-11. The Tigers committed nine costly turnovers and were out-rebounded, 23-18.
Jordan Sears led the team at the break with 8 points. Cam Carter scored 7 points. No one else had more than 4.

LSU began the second half outscoring State, 10-7. At the 16:33 mark, the Bulldogs led, 51-36.

Mississippi State responded with a 12-4 run to take a 23 point lead, 63-40 with 11:53 left in the contest.

The LSU meltdown continued as the Bulldogs increased their lead to thirty, 76-46 with 7:29 remaining. Mississippi State was making it look easy, toying with the Bayou Bengals as the blow out surged on.

State cruised the rest of the way for the easy victory.

With the loss LSU finishes the season, 14-18. It will be an interested offseason in Baton Rouge as we wait and see what the future brings for this struggling program.

BATON ROUGE, LA - LSU returned home to play their final regular season game of the season, falling to Texas A&M on Senior Day, 66-52 in the Maravich Center on Saturday afternoon.

Another poor second half performance led to another dreadful defeat. LSU shot a poor 30% from the floor for the game. They sank 7-26 from three point range. 15-20 from the free throw line. They turned the ball over 12 times and were out-rebounded by the Aggies, 42-27.
Jordan Sears led the team with 21 points. Mike Williams III scored 8. Cam Carter finished with 7 points. Dji Bailey added 6 points.

The Aggies started fast, racing out to a 15-7 lead over the first six minutes of the half.

LSU would go on an 11-4 run over the next six minutes to take the lead, 19-18 at the 7:52 mark as the Tigers’ tough defense forced Texas A&M into a four minute plus scoring drought.

The Tigers continued their run, scoring eight more straight to extend their to 26-19, causing A&M to call a time out with 6:36 left in the half.

At the 3:32 media timeout, LSU held a 29-24 advantage.

The Aggies outscored the Tigers, 6-3 over the final three minutes of the half, cutting LSU’s lead to two points, 32-30 at halftime.

The Tigers shot 39% from the floor in the first half. They hit 4-11 from behind the arc for 36%. At the free throw line, they sank 10-12 for 83%. LSU committed eight first half turnovers while A&M committed Sven. The rebound battle was even at 14-14.
Jordan Sears led the team at the break with 16 points.

Texas A&M started the second half outscoring LSU, 11-2 over the first six minutes of the half. With 14:14 remaining on the clock, the Aggies led, 41-34.

LSU returned to their sloppy, inconsistent play which allowed Texas A&M to remain in control of the contest.

The Tigers went completely ice cold on offense, hitting only 1 of their 15 shots in the second half as the Aggies extended their lead to 53-37 at the 7:25 mark.

There was no quit by the Tigers as the clawed their way back to within ten, 58-48 with 4:20 left. But LSU simply didn’t have enough in them to pull any closer.

The Tigers fall to 14-17 overall and 3-15 in the SEC. Next, LSU will travel to Nashville to play Mississippi State in the first round of the SEC Tournament on Wednesday at 6:00 pm. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

LEXINGTON, Kentucky – The Kentucky Wildcats used a strong start to put the LSU Tigers on their heels and score a 95-64 win over LSU Tuesday night at Rupp Arena.
The Tigers were overwhelmed in the first half by Kentucky scoring runs and three pointers as Kentucky shot 58.6 percent (20-of-34) overall from the field in the first 20 minutes and 7-of-14 from distance.

The Wildcats had 15-0 and 12-0 runs in the opening stanza to help Kentucky get out to a 15-2 advantage and would reach as much as 27 points in the final minute of the first half. The Wildcats led, 50-23, at the intermission.

Both teams were doing well in the paint with Kentucky getting 26 points in the paint and LSU had 20 points as the Tigers were 0-of-8 from distance and 11-of-29 overall (37.9 percent).

LSU was able to play more evenly in the second half with the Wildcats, being outscored only four points, as LSU was able to shoot 51.7 percent from the floor, making 15-of-29 with six three-pointers.

For the game, LSU shot 26-of-58 from the field (44.8 percent), 6-of-22 from distance (27.3 percent) and finished 6-of-10 from the free throw line.

Kentucky would finish at 50.7 percent (36-of-71) with 12 three pointers and a perfect 11-of 11 from the line.

Robert Miller III led LSU with 15 points on 7-of-11 field goal shooting with six rebounds, while Cam Carter had 14 points and Jordan Sears 13. Dji Bailey also had six rebounds.

Otega Oweh had 24 points to lead Kentucky as the only starter in double figures. Brandon Garrison and Ansley Almonor scored 15 each and Collin Chandler scored 11 points. Oweh also had eight rebounds and Lamont Butler had five assists.

LSU had 16 turnovers that resulted in 18 points off turnovers.

LSU again played without Corey Chest for the second straight game with his toe/foot injury and Vyctorius Miller missed his second game after turning his ankle in the first few minutes of Saturday’s game against Mississippi State.

The Tigers close the regular season on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against Texas A&M.

Post-Game Quotes
LSU Coach Matt McMahon
On how the big runs by Kentucky in the first half affected the game…
“Yeah, they were ready to go. As disappointed as I am in our performance, I gotta give them great credit for the way they played tonight. I thought [Lamont] Butler and [Otega] Oweh dominated the game with their physicality on the defensive end. That got them out in transition. You can’t simulate the pace they play at. They play with great speed in the open floor. They really shared the ball well tonight and we just struggled to get stops against their high-powered offense.”
On how Kentucky’s bigs generate the offense…
“Yeah, it’s really interesting. On the defensive end, I think [Lamont] Butler and [Otega] Oweh run the show there. On the offensive end, [Amari] Williams at the five plays as a point forward as you described very well. He’s a great playmaker at 6’11. He really identifies their shooters. He’s a great passer on those back cuts when you try and take away the three. They were able to really spread us out and space us on that offensive end and Williams made us pay. And then [Brandon] Garrison, the All-American off the bench, steps up and hits a couple big threes for them as well”

STARKVILLE, MS - LSU took on a very good Mississippi State team on Saturday afternoon in Starkville and lost their third game in a row, 81-69.

LSU once again was competitive through most of the game, but their lack of offensive productivity continues to haunt this team.

The Tigers finished the game shooting 39% from the floor. They hit 9-36 from behind the arc for 25%. At the free throw line they sank 10-14 for 71%. LSU turned the ball over nine times and were out-rebounded, 36-31.
Cam Carter had a great game scoring 23 points, but had little help. Daimion Collins finished with 10 points. Derek Fountain and Jordan Sears scored 9 points each. Mike Williams III added 8. Dji Bailey scored 7 points and Curtis givens III finished with 3 points.

The Tigers began the game hitting back to back three pointers, then on the strength of some very solid defense, LSU lead, 10-4 at the 15:43 official’s timeout.

Over the next six minutes, State would outscore LSU, 11-7 to cut the Tigers' lead to, 17-15 with 10:15 left in the first half.  The contest had shaped up into a good, competitive game.

In a low scoring game, LSU was able to hold onto their lead. At the 3:59 media timeout, the Tigers lead, 27-23.

LSU played well in the first half, taking a 37-35 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Tigers shot 41% from the floor in the first half. They hit 5-20 from behind the three point arc for 25%. They sank 4-5 from the charity stripe for 80%. LSU turned the ball over five times while forcing State into nine in the first half. The Bulldogs did out-rebound LSU, 20-16. Cam Carter led the team at the break with 18 points.

The second half picked up right where we left off in the first, with both teams trading baskets and the lead. At the 15:13 media timeout, LSU led, 47-46.

Mississippi State would go on a 14-6 run over the next four minutes to take a 60-53 lead.

LSU remained inconsistent offensively and State took advantage by staying in control of the contest. At the 7:57 mark, the Bulldogs led, 65-58.

The Tigers had several opportunities to climb back into the contest, but their poor shooting kept them behind the eight ball. With only 3:32 left on the clock, State held a 73-66 advantage. The Bulldogs coasted the rest of the way for the victory.

LSU falls to 14-15 overall and 3-13 in SEC play. Next Up the Tigers will travel to Lexington to play Kentucky on Tuesday at 6:00 pm. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

BATON ROUGE, LA - The Tigers played host to #5 Tennessee in the Maravich Center and fell to the Volunteers, 65-59.

Like I keep saying, same story, different game. LSU is competitive for much of the contest, but they simply don’t have enough offensive fire-power to compete with SEC competition. Poor shooting and turnovers doom them each and every game.

LSU shot 41% on the night. They hit 7-27 three point attempts for 26%. LSU went 10-16 from the free throw line. Those six missed points was the difference in the ball game. The Tigers committed ten total turnovers and were out-rebounded, 44-28.

Victorius Miller led the team with 17 points. Cam Carter scored 12. Daimion Collins finished with 9 points. Curtis Givens III added 8 points. Dji Bailey contributed 5. Robert Miller III had 4 points. Jordan Sears and Mike Williams III both added 2 points each.

The contest surprisingly started as a low scoring affair. At the 15:08 media timeout, Tennessee led, 7-5.

Both teams would play even over the next four minutes, as the Vols held a 14-12 advantage at the 11:29 mark.

LSU would go into a six minute scoring drought, allowing Tennessee to extend their lead to 22-14 with 5:42 left in the first half.

Both teams continued to play sloppy and shoot poorly, as the Vols would outscore LSU, 8-6 over the next seven minutes, to hold a 26-20 lead.

Daimion Collins hit a three pointer with 40 seconds left in the half to cut the Volunteers lead to three, 26-23 at halftime.

LSU shot 37% from the floor in the first half. They were 3-15 from behind the arc for 20%. They missed their only free throw attempt. The Tigers turned the ball over six times while forcing Tennessee into eight. The Vols out-rebounded LSU, 22-13 over the first 20 minutes of play.

Victorius Miller led the team at the break with 10 points. Daimion Collins scored 5 points. Dji Bailey added 4. Cam Carter and Mike Williams III both finished with 2 points each. LSU played great defense in the first half. Can they keep this level of play up or will they have their typical second half collapse?

Tennessee started the second half with a 10-5 run to extend their advantage to, 36-28 at the 15:29 mark while LSU continued to struggle offensively.

Both teams continued to play solid defense and struggle on offense, but Tennessee was doing just enough to remain in control of the contest. With 11:06 left, LSU trailed, 43-35.

At the 6:49 media timeout, the Vols held a 53-44 advantage.

Tennessee slowly pulled away late in the game to earn the victory.

With the loss, LSU falls to 14-14 overall and 3-12 in SEC play. Next up, the Tigers travel to Starkville to play #24 Mississippi State on Saturday, March 1 at 2:30 pm. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

BATON ROUGE, LA - The Tigers played host to #2 Florida in the Maravich Center on Saturday afternoon and played hard, but fell, 79-65. This Florida team is for real and is without a doubt one of the best teams in the country.

Great effort by the Bayou Bengals, just not enough offense to pull it out.

LSU finished the game shooting 38% from the floor. They were 9-31 from behind the three point arc for 29%. At the free throw line they sank, 8-12 for 67%. LSU only turned the ball over only seven times and were out-rebounded, 48-33.
Robert Miller III led the team with 19 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Curtis Givens III scored 11 points. Mike Willians III finished with 10. Daimion Collins added 8 points. Cam Carter scored 7. Victorius Miller and Dji Bailey both had 3 points each. Jordan Sears and Corey Chest both finished with 2 points each.

The game started with a fast pace as both teams pushing the ball quickly, however it was the Gators who started with the early upper hand, leading 9-4 at the 15:53 official’s timeout.

LSU had several opportunities to catch Florida, but just couldn’t get their shots to fall, shooting only 20% from the floor over the first seven minutes of the contest.

Over the next four minutes, Florida outscored the Tigers, 9-3 to increase their advantage to, 18-7 at the 11:52 mark.

With 7;34 left in the first half, the Gators held a twelve point lead, 27-15.

LSU would go on a 11-2 run, cutting the Gators’ lead to three, 29-26 with 3:53 left in the half. The Tigers were their own worse enemy, missing several easy shots right under the basket and missing four free throws.

The Tigers went on another 11-2 run over the final 3:53 of the half to lead, 37-31 at halftime. LSU played great basketball over the final seven minutes of the half, especially on defense, shutting the hot shooting Gators down.

LSU shot 39% from the floor in the first half. They hit 6-16 from behind the arc for 38%. They hit 7-11 free throws for 64%. LSU turned the ball over only once in the first half. Florida out-rebounded the Tigers, 24-19 over the first 20 minutes.
Robert Miller III led the team at the break with 12 points. Mike Williams III scored 7 points. Daimion Collins added 4. Curtis Givens III, Dji Bailey and Vyctorius Miller all scored 3 points each. Jordan Sears finished with 2 points.

Florida outscored LSU, 11-9 over the first six minutes of the second half, cutting the Tigers’ lead to, 46-42 with 14:25 left on the clock.

The Gators battled back with a 7-4 run to pull to within one, 50-49 at the 12:00 mark. For some reason, the official’s took away a basket from LSU as we returned to play after an official’s review. 49-48 Florida at the 12:00 mark.

Florida began to take control of the contest, going on a 11-4 run to take a 60-52 lead with 8:49 left.

LSU began to miss shots badly and got sloppy as the Gators extended their lead to ten, 69-59 with 4:16 left and continued to pull away.

LSU falls to 14-13 overall and 3-11 in SEC play. Next, the Tigers will host Tennessee on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 8:00 pm.. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

NORMAN, OK - LSU continued their road trip, arriving in Norman where they thankfully ended the losing streak, defeating the Oklahoma Sooners, 82-79 on Saturday evening.

With 1:21 left in the contest, the Sooners held a one point lead, 75-74. Could the Tigers make the plays necessary to stop the seven game losing streak? The answer was YES! Thanks to the Cam Carter show.. With 20 seconds left, Carter hit a three pointer and was fouled. He made the free throw to cut the lead to one, 79-78. Carter then gave LSU the lead, 80-79 after hitting a running layup with 8.4 seconds remaining. It was an 8-0 LSU run over the final 20 seconds of the game.

The Tigers shot 27-56 from the floor for 48%. They finished 11-28 from behind the arc for 39%. LSU really struggled at the free throw line, only making, 17-30 for 57%. They did a very nice job of taking care of the basketball, only committing nine turnover on the day.
Cam Carter led the Tigers with 29 points. Daimion Collins had a great game, scoring 22 points. Dji Bailey added 13 points. Victorius Miller finished with 9. Mike Williams III added 4 points. Curtis Givens III scored 3 and Robert Miller III finished with 2 points.

LSU started the contest shooting poorly, but their hustle and heart helped them to stay in the game. At the 11:34 media timeout, Oklahoma held a four point advantage, 14-10.

The Sooners remained on fire early as they started to separate themselves from the inconsistent Tigers. After trailing by ten, LSU would outscore Oklahoma, 10-3 over the next three minutes to pull to within three, 23-20 at the 7:48 mark.

Once again, LSU was able to hang close, but poor shooting allowed the Sooners to stay in control and build a six point advantage, 35-29 at halftime.

LSU shot 38% from the floor in the first half. They struggled from behind the arc, hitting only 4-15 for 27%. They left four points at the line, sinking only 3-7 free throws for 43%. Both teams only turned the ball over four times. Oklahoma out-rebounded the Tigers, 20-16.
Dji Bailey led the team at the break with 11 points. Daimion Collins finished with 6 points. Cam Carter added 5. Robert Miller III, Curtis Givens III and Vyctorius Miller all had 2 points each and Mike Williams III had 1 point at the half.  Jordan Sears spent most of the first half on the bench after picking up two quick. early fouls and Corey Chest was unable to play due to an issue with back spasms.

The Sooners began the second half with a 9-2 run to increase their lead to, 44-31 at the 15:51 mark. The Tigers looked totally out of sync, struggling on both ends of the floor.

Over the next five minutes, LSU would continue to scratch and claw themselves back into the game, outscoring Oklahoma, 13-6 to cut the lead to six, 50-44 with 11:22 left on the clock.

The Tigers continued to fight and play hard, battling back to pull to within two, 59-57 with 7:45 left to go.

LSU grabbed their first lead of the game since very early in the contest, 62-59 at the 6:54 mark. Now, they needed to continue the improved play to have a chance to finally taste victory.

Oklahoma responded by outscoring LSU, 12-8 over the next three minutes to regain the lead, 71-68 with 3:44 left. But the Bayou Bengals never quit, battling back with the heart of a Tiger!  A much needed, huge win for this group of young men....

With the win, LSU improves to 13-12 overall and 2-10 in the SEC. Next, the Tigers will return home on Tuesday, Feb. 18 to host South Carolina at 8:00 pm. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR - A struggling LSU basketball team traveled to chilly Fayetteville to rematch the Razorbacks who had revenge on their mind after falling to the Tigers in Baton Rouge earlier in the season and got it as they defeated LSU, 70-58. Since the Bayou Bengal's defeated Arkansas at home on January 14, the Tigers have dropped seven straight.

Different game, same story. LSU simply can't play at a high level for 40 minutes against SEC competition. The lack of offensive firepower continues to haunt this team.  The Tigers also had no answer for Arkansas' 7-2 center Ivisic Zuonimir on either side of the floor. He scored 25 points and blocked four shots.

LSU shot 39% from the floor on the night. They hit only 5-20 from behind the arc for 25%. They made 3-6 free throws. The Tigers committed nine total turnovers and were out-rebounded, 39-33.
Robert Miller III led the team with 16 points. Cam Carter finished with 13. Vyctorius Miller added 9 points. Corey Chest finished with 7. Derek Fountain contributed 5 points. Daimion Collins scored 4. Jordan Sears and Dji Bailey only scored 2 points each.

LSU jumped out to an early 5-0 lead but would then be outscored by the Hogs, 11-4 over the next couple of minutes. Arkansas led, 11-9 at the 15:31 official's timeout.

During the media timeout, the official's reviewed one of Arkansas' baskets that was ruled a goal-tend and it was seen that LSU didn't touch the ball on the missed shoot so they took the two points off the board. That adjusted the game score to a 9-9 tie at the 15:31 mark.

Arkansas went on a 8-2 run to take a 21-16 advantage, forcing Matt McMahon to call a timeout with 7:58 left in the first half.

LSU continued to play hard and well, cutting the Hog's lead to two, 28-26 with 3:50 left in the half.

The Tigers played well during the final three minutes of the half, outscoring Arkansas, 9-6. Vyctorius Miller hit a three pointer at the buzzer to give LSU a 35-34 lead at the break.

LSU shot 42% from the floor in the first half. They sank 4-14 three point attempts for 29%. The Tigers need to be better at the free throw line in the second half, as they were 1-4 for 25% from the charity stripe. LSU did a great job of taking care of the ball over the first 20 minutes with only three turnovers. Arkansas won the first half rebound battle, 24-18.
Cam Carter led the team at the break with 8 points. Corey Chest scored 7 points. Robert Miller III added 6 points. Derek Fountain finished with 5. Vyctorius Miller has 3 points. Jordan Sears, Dji Bailey and Daimion Collins added 2 points each.

Arkansas outscored LSU, 9-6 early in the second half as the Tigers found themselves falling into foul trouble. Jordan Sears, Dji Bailey and Daimion Collins all committed their third foul by the 15:21 mark with the Hog's holding a 43-41 lead.

The Tigers continued to fight and play well, but Arkansas raised their level of play to go on a 10-4 run to extend their lead to, 53-45, forcing LSU to call a timeout to try and stop the bleeding with 12:29 left on the clock.

LSU slowly began to revert back to the normal inconsistent play, taking ugly shots and missing easy ones. The Hogs maintained their lead, as the Tigers trailed, 58-50 at the 7:17 mark.

The Bayou Bengals couldn't keep pace with the Hogs late in the second half, but refused to quit as they continued to fight and battle to get back into the game. With 2:38 left in the contest, Arkansas led, 65-56.

The Tigers are now 12-12 overall and 1-10 in the SEC. Next up, LSU will head to Norman, Oklahoma to play the Sooners on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 5:00 pm. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

BATON ROUGE, LA - Would the five game losing streak end on Saturday night? The answer unfortunately was no it wouldn't. The Tigers had a terrible melt down over the final 2:52 of the game to lose to the 25th ranked Rebels, 72-70 in front of 6,980 Tiger fans in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU played one of their best games of the season for 37 minutes before blowing a ten point lead as Ole Miss went on a 12-0 run over the final 2:52 of the contest to steal the win. Dre Davis tipped the ball into the basket with .01 seconds left on the clock. What a devastating loss for a struggling LSU team.

The Tigers ended the night shooting 45% from the floor. They made 8-24 three point attempts for 33%. LSU lost this game at the free throw line only making 12-25 for 48%.
Cam Carter led the team with 16 points. Daimion Collins scored 15 points. Jordan Sears added 13. seven other Tigers finished with single digit scoring.

The game started with both teams playing well, pushing the ball aggressively up and down the floor. Ole Miss held a 14-11 lead at the 11:47 media timeout.

Over the next four minutes LSU played the Rebels tough, outscoring Ole Miss, 8-4 to take a 19-18 lead at the 7:52 mark.

LSU played with focus and discipline so far in the first half as they were able to lead the Rebels, 32-28 with 3:43 left in the first half.

The Tigers played one of their finest halves of the season as they took a 39-33 lead into the locker room at the halftime break.

The Bayou Bengals shot 15-33 from the floor in the first half for 45%. They hit 4-15 from behind the three point arc for 27%. The Tigers need to be better from the free throw line in the second half as they only sank 5-12 in the first half for 42%. LSU did a great job of taking care of the ball over the first 20 minutes, only turning the ball over twice. The Tigers out-rebounded Ole Miss, 22-15.
Daimion Collins led the team at the break with 13 points. Cam Carter scored 8 points. Corey Chest, Dji Bailey, Mike Williams III and Trey'Dez Green all scored 3 points each. Vyctorius Miller, Curtis Givens III and Robert Miller III had 2 points each.

LSU continued their solid play early in the second half, outscoring the Rebels, 10-6 over the first four minutes of the half to take a ten point lead, 49-39.

Over the next four minutes, Ole Miss was able to outscore LSU, 8-2, cutting the LSU lead to four, 51-47 at the 11:56 mark. You can feel the Rebels starting to sift the momentum back in their direction.

At the 7:50 media timeout, LSU held a 57-53 advantage in what had turned into a very physical contest.

The Tigers were able to extend their lead to ten, 63-53 at the 5:00 minute mark.

Ole Miss would slowly chip away at the LSU lead, going on a late 10-2 run, cutting the Tigers' lead to three, 70-67 with 1:29 left. Ole Miss then sank a three pointer to tie the game at 70-70 with only 45 seconds left in the contest.

The losing streak now extends to six in a row as LSU falls to 12-11 overall and 1-9 in SEC play. Next up the Tigers will limp into Fayetteville to play a revenge minded Arkansas team on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 8:00 pm. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
