In the fifth, Sierra Daniel pinch hit for Manning, earning the Tigers their first hit of the game. Redoutey followed with her own single. Newland sacrifice flied to score Daniel, then Gutierez had a double to send in Redoutey. The inning ended 2-0. Bergeron and Lynch both made it on base in the sixth, Madilyn Giglio and Savannah Bedell were put in as pinch runners to try and increase the Tiger’s lead. Manning laid down a perfect squeeze bunt, scoring both runners. She was safe on the fielder's choice, and advanced to second on a throwing error by Liberty’s first baseman. All three outs came after this, ending the inning 4-0. The seventh went very quickly. Liberty went three up three down, Berzon not allowing the Eagles to make any progress.
