Junior running back Ty Davis-Price announced on Friday that he will opt out of the Texas Bowl to prepare for the 2022 NFL Draft, foregoing his senior season with the Tigers. “It’s been an honor to suit up and wear the purple and gold these past three years." Davis-Price announce on Twitter. "To be a part of a national championship team has been nothing short of amazing. After prayerful consideration, my family and I decided that it is best for me to forego the bowl game and my senior year at LSU. I’m excited to embark on a new chapter of my life. I will be entering the 2022 NFL Draft.” Davis-Price led the Tigers in rushing in 2021, averaging 4.8 yards per carry while rushing for 1,003 yards on 211 carries and six touchdowns.
