Derek Stingley To Wear #7 in 2021

BATON ROUGE: Coach Orgeron has announced on Tuesday that junior cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. will now wear #7 for the 2021 football season.   A two time All-American, Stingley will now join the short list of dynamic playmakers who have had the honor to wear the #7 Jersey. 

   "It's an honor to be part of the legacy of players that have worn the number 7 jersey," Stingley said. "I'm looking forward to upholding the tradition and the standard of play that has been set by the group that has come before me."
