   BATON ROUGE, LA - Brian Kelly added another big piece to the defensive staff when he hired former Tiger player/assistant coach Corey Raymond to coach the secondary. Raymond is not only an excellent coach, but also a fantastic recruiter who will no doubt be a huge asset for the program. Welcome back Corey Raymond!

   The Tigers have also added another weapon to the offense, signing CJ Daniels out of the transfer portal. Daniels, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, is a dynamic talent who has been a key weapon for Liberty. In 2023 he lead the Liberty Flames with 55 catches for 1,067 yard and 10 touchdowns while earning All-Conference honors. 
   His addition means another dangerous option for Garrett Nussmeier to target in 2024. Daniels has two years of eligibility remaining.
