Plenty of LSU athletes are already making the most of the Name, Image and Likeness era.
One of those is Tigers quarterback Myles Brennan, who was LSU’s starter last year, though he hasn’t officially won the job over the likes of Max Johnson and Garrett Nussmeier for the 2021 season.
Brennan recently struck a deal with Hollingsworth Richards Ford dealership in Baton Rouge, as he announced via Twitter on Friday.
“Proud to partner with @hollingsworthrichardsford this season to put the brand new F-250 to the test,” Brennan wrote. “Ford it is! Let’s get it!”
Brennan has had no shortage of opportunities since athletes have been allowed to make a profit with NIL, also recently partnering with Raising Cane’s and Smoothie King.
Last season before he sustained a severe abdominal injury against Missourui, Brennan completed over 60% of his passes for 1,112 yards with 11 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Over four years at LSU without a complete season as the starting signal-caller yet, Brennan has completed 60.2% of his pass attempts for 1,712 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions.
In his fifth year with the Tigers, it will be interesting to see if he’s the one taking the reins when LSU faces UCLA on Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. CT in Rose Bowl Stadium.
