Da Boot Sports 11/1/2021 By: Terrill J. Weil BATON ROUGE, LA: Sources have reported that LSU quarterback Myles Brennan will be entering the NCAA transfer portal. Brennan was poised to reclaim his starting quarterback position in 2021 after missing most of the 2020 season with a serious abdomen injury that occurred against Missouri. The weekend before fall practice was schedule to begin, Brennan fell victim for a freak off the field accident. While on a family fishing trip, he tripped while walking on the dock carrying fishing supplies to the boat, landing on and breaking his left non-throwing arm. Myles and his family announced that he had no plan to leave LSU and would again become the LSU starter after recovering from the injury. As fall camp began, it was reported that Brennan could recover in 8 weeks and return by the middle of the season. But unfortunately that ended up not to be the case. I'm very sad to hear this news. I'm a huge Myles Brennan fan and hate to see a talented young man who has been so patient waiting his turn, end up deciding to look elsewhere to finish off his college career. All of us here at Da Boot Sports wish him the best...
