By: Terrill J. Weil Da Boot Sports! Battle for the Boot! It's LSU hosting Arkansas for the annual Battle for the Boot. The Tigers, (10-0), look to make it four in a row against the Razorbacks, (2-8, 0-6 SEC), losers of their last seven games. When the game kicks off at 6pm in Tiger Stadium tomorrow night, things could get very ugly, real quick for the Hogs, in what has already been a dismal season. The LSU offense should have their way with Arkansas' defense, as they will surely continue to pile up yards and points at will. Maybe even break another LSU record or two. Coach O, would love to build a large enough lead in the first half so he can pull some starters to rest and avoid any injuries with a improved Texas A&M team next on the schedule. After being embarrassed by the Ole Miss running attack last week in Oxford, I look for the Tigers to bounce back nicely on defense. With the offense hopefully putting this one away early, the defense will show everyone that they are not as bad as some think. Junior safety Grant Delpit, who has been playing with an injured ankle the last couple of weeks will sit this one out for a much needed break. Maurice Hampton will start in Delpit's spot. Senior Linebacker, Michael Divinity returned to the team this week after leaving for personal reasons right before the Alabama game. However he is still not eligible to play as of yet. The offensive line will start a different lineup again this week, as Austin Deculus will apparently sit out this one. Our #1 ranked Fighting Tigers will clinch the SEC West Title for the first time since 2011, by cruising to an easy victory in this one. MY PREDICTION: LSU 56, Arkansas 10 Comments are closed.
